There are many cloud services available for no or low-cost to UTA faculty, staff, and students, that may be suitable for file sharing and collaborative research. SharePoint and UTA Box, for example, are approved for most types of confidential data. BE AWARE that certain types of information are protected under export control, FERPA, HIPAA, or IRB processes. Consult a UTA subject matter expert resource if you have questions (see Campus Resources below).
- Open Science Framework is a scholarly commons for storing and sharing research among research teams and publishing research for larger communities.
- Sharepoint sites can be created to house and share document libraries and other content.
